Delighted to share that I had the privilege of creating the illustrations for these unique animals featured on Armenian stamps. The postage stamp with a nominal value of 230 AMD showcases the enchanting Alcedo atthis (Common Kingfisher) perched on a branch, a bird declared ‘Bird of the Year’ through public voting by the Armenian Society for the Protection of Birds in 2019.
Additionally, the stamp with a nominal value of 330 AMD features the majestic Panthera pardus ciscaucasica (Caucasian Leopard), as the Government of the Republic of Armenia declared 2019 the ‘Year of Caucasian Leopard.’ These illustrations portray the animals in their natural habitat, presented in an artistic style.
